PCR INBOUND TEST

COMING INTO UK FULLY QUARANTINED

You must fill out passenger locator form prior to boarding from your destination

Booking a PCR test with 72 hours of your departure flight to UK from a local laboratory. You must have the results before boarding the flight

After Arrival in UK you do not need to quarantine, However If arrival day is 0, passengers MUST take a test on day 2

You MUST BOOK and pay for a DAY 2 test BEFORE DEPARTURE from your destination : Choose your test : https://www.btres.com/pcrtest-offline and choose the type of test you need and click Book Now. Please ensure that you fill in all required information on PCR booking Registration form

Under 4 years of age do not require any test when coming into UK. *5-10 year olds do NOT have to take a PREDEPARTURE PCR test at destination. 5 - 17 Years of age must take a TEST on Day 2 for arrival into UK. However if the child is resident of UK/USA/EU country the they do NOT have to quarantine.

• When you are ready to perform the test, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water.
• Open the swab container and swab the back of the throat. Make sure the end of the swab does not touch any other surface and that the swab is firmly rotated five times. You may feel uncomfortable gagging, but this is normal.
• Use the same swap and insert it into one of the nostrils. Ensure that you place the swab HORIZONTALLY approximately 2.5cm into the nostril and rotate the swab 5 times
• Place the swab into the container. And then place the container into the "specisafe" case and place the Specisafecase into the UN3373 envelope
• Fill out the "PCR return form". The IBE number MUST MATCH the details filled out on the website, else will delay processing of the PCR test
• Place the PCR Return information slip in the envelope.
• Wash Your Hands thoroughly again
• If posting the envelope then you must write the address on the envelope : AR Healthcare and Pharma Ltd : Room 241, Spaces, Porter Building, 1 Brunel Way, Slough. SL1 1FQ, and post the KIT there via a post office (approx. cost GBP7.50). You can also hand deliver the kit to the lab or : Brightsun Travel, 14 Hanworth Road, Hounslow, TW3 1UA.
• If you have posted or delivered the kit on Day 1, then the results will be provided by 10:00 am on Day 3 by email.
• If the results have not arrived - please email GFT@brightsun.co.uk, with your IBE number and we will revert back to you .

COMING INTO UK (non quarantined)

*5-10 year olds do NOT have to take a PREDEPARTURE test at destination

You must Quarantine at the place you are staying for 10 days

You MUST BOOK and pay for a DAY 2 and DAY 8 test BEFORE DEPARTURE from your destination. Choose your test : https://www.btres.com/pcrtest-offline and choose the type of test you need and click Book Now

(If day 2 is positive then you do not need to take the day 8 test as you have to quarantine for 10 days )
Even if you are visiting the UK for less than 10 days, you most book a DAY 2 and DAY 8 test. You are free to leave the UK within the 10 days quarantine period
