Brightsun Direct Connect XML API

Brightsun API provides complete travel booking solutions including payment gateways. Brightsun API is based on REST architecture and uses same for the API calls. It uses basic authentication and authorization. You must be ready with the username and password to access this API. IP addresses also must be whitelisted with Brightsun to prevent any possible fraudulent activity.
Brightsun API is based on REST architectural style via HTTP protocol. This document provides technical information to access Brightsun API in the easiest way possible to get you started.
This specification provides the details of our core flight search API. However, for details of our new lightweight flight, hotel, transfer, attraction and package builder XML APIs.

The Brightsun Travel Direct Connect XML API allows authorised travel partners direct and easy access content from more than 150 low cost and scheduled airlines around the world. With a rich set of functions and versatile integration capabilities, the Direct Connect XML API system allows you to link directly between your system and our online booking system. With real-time availability and fully automated booking processes, this innovative system is constantly updated and is backed by a technical support team. This system adds value for customers by allowing for choice, control and flexibility, an easy exchange of information and fresh, up-to-date content. Detailed specifications of all XML requests, guidelines and further information are available in our Detailed XML Specification.

Search and Book

The entire search and booking process is completed by your application via the XML API. You remain in control of the customer and the user interface for the entire booking process.

Search and Refer

Flight, data is accessed by your application via the Brightsun Travel XML API, and displayed to the end user by your webservers or websites. You remain fully in control of the customer and the user interface up to the booking stages. Once the user has selected a flight, they are handed over to the supplier's XML to complete their booking. Various possibilities exist for tracking any subsequent bookings and commissions are available depending on the supplier.

Search Transfer

User-friendly transfer details such as city of departure, date, destination, return date and type of travel help sort out customer travel itineraries as well as provide them with options to choose either shared or private transfers and vehicle types. The same software will help your business manage and increase profit margins from transfers. The transfer API will be available shortly.

Terms and Conditions

Use of the Brightsun Travel Direct Connect XML API is subject to fees as set out in our license agreement. All terms and conditions of use of the API agreement which you are required to sign prior to using the XML API. White Label

How to integrate BTRES White Label Services Apply for Access.

To access the BTRES White label services, you must have User ID, Password and HAP (Host Access Profile). You can get these after signing the White Label Service Agreement.

We are providing the WHITE LABEL with iFrame solution in two ways, OPTION-1 and OPTION-2 with additional features.

Option-1 : You can develop the booking engine at your end which is free of cost, but if you want to take additional features like Flexible date, Hotel search Engine, These features are not included in Option-1 and these are chargeable please see below in option-2 or please see the Appendix 1 in the agreement document which is available in Btres.com

Payment Gateways

BTpayment.com BTpayment.com is a payment gateway for the travel trade which facilitates online payments making them safe, and easy.
For customers who do not have their payment gateway or merchant services, we offer a facility to take payments from customers over Amex, MasterCard, Paypal and Visa. This is a fully secure system, and there are no chargebacks as the system befits from 3D secure. This payment gateway only displays your company’s name, and does not display Brightsun to your customers. Even when customers receive their bills their statement with show BTPAYMENT.com, and not Brightsun. Furthermore you will immediately get a notification, and the payment from your customer will reflect in your BTres.com account.
The site is secured by Comodo SSL, and as per PCI compliance no card details are stored on this payment process.
